EMSL Canada, Inc. is proud to announce that its Ottawa laboratory has been accredited by the Canadian Association for Laboratory Accreditation Inc. (CALA) for spore trap and direct exam analysis.
Through the CALA accreditation program, EMSL’s Ottawa laboratory is compliant with International Standard ISO/IEC 17025:2005 for specific tests. EMSL can test for asbestos in air by PCM fibre counting along with analyzing fungi and fungi solids in air by microscopy.

EMSL Ottawa is certified by the National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program (NVLAP) for PLM bulk asbestos fiber analysis (NVLAP Lab Code 201040-0). Ottawa is also a recognized laboratory by The Institut de recherche Robert-Sauvé en santé et en sécurité du travail (IRSST).
