EMSL Analytical, Inc. is pleased to announce that its Chicago laboratory will operate out of its new location starting Monday, September 14th, 2015. The 10,000 square foot building will house EMSL's state-of-the-art laboratory instrumentation and highly-trained personnel.
EMSL Chicago offers asbestos, food and beverage, indoor air quality (IAQ), lead and metals, and microbiology laboratory testing services. The laboratory is American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA) approved for environmental lead and environmental microbiology along with AIHA ELPAT (paint chips, soil, dust wipes, air) and AIHA EMPAT (fungi) accreditations.
“Chicago’s new building will help increase capacity and expand capabilities in several of its analytical divisions including its food, asbestos, microbiology, indoor air quality and chemistry testing services,” said Joe Frasca, Senior Vice President of Marketing at EMSL Analytical, Inc.
In addition to AIHA qualifications, EMSL Chicago received certification from the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA) Program for food microbiology testing services. Also, the laboratory has been accredited by the National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program (NVLAP) for airborne asbestos fiber analysis (TEM) and bulk asbestos fiber analysis (PLM).
