EMSL Analytical, Inc. is pleased to announce that its Buffalo, New York laboratory has received accreditation from the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA) Program for the lab’s mold testing services. Under A2LA, EMSL Buffalo is accredited to the International Standard ISO/IEC 17025:2005.
EMSL Buffalo’s accreditation (Certificate Number 2845.24) has been approved for fungal direct examination in bulk, surface and air samples.

In addition to its A2LA accreditation, EMSL Buffalo is also accredited through the National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program (NVLAP) for bulk asbestos and airborne asbestos analysis. EMSL Buffalo earned IRSST recognition for asbestos analysis by polarized light microscopy (PLM) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). The laboratory is NY-ELAP certified for asbestos testing of potable water, solid and hazardous waste along with air and emissions. EMSL Buffalo is also CDC ELITE certified for Legionella testing.
