EMSL Analytical, Inc. is proud to announce that its Charlotte laboratory has been approved by the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (NCDHHS) for Coliforms, Metals and Turbidity for drinking water. EMSL Charlotte is in compliance with the provisions of regulations 10A NCAC 42 D 0.200 certification for drinking water analysis.
EMSL Charlotte (Laboratory Number: 37907) can analyze Coliforms and E. coli. For metals, the laboratory has been approved for Arsenic, Copper, Iron, Lead, Manganese and Silica testing services. General chemistry analysis includes Turbidity by Nephelometry.

EMSL Charlotte is also accredited by the American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA) for environmental lead (AIHA ELLAP), environmental microbiology (AIHA EMLAP) and industrial hygiene (AIHA IHLAP). The laboratory participates in the AIHA Environmental Lead Proficiency Analytical Testing (ELPAT) program for lead analysis in paint chips, soil and dust wipes, the AIHA Environmental Microbiology Proficiency Analytical Testing (EMPAT) program for fungi analysis and the AIHA Industrial Hygiene Proficiency Analytical Testing (IHPAT) program for metals and PCM.
In addition to its AIHA accreditations, the laboratory is accredited by the National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program (NVLAP) for bulk and airborne asbestos analysis (NVLAP Lab Code: 200841-0).
