Introduction EMSL Analytical and LA Testing are pleased to host this comprehensive day-long course that is scheduled to take place in San Leandro, California on March 8th.

EMSL Analytical, Inc. and LA Testing invite environmental professionals, building science consultants, facility and property managers and health and safety professionals involved with Legionella issues to take part in the network’s one-day complimentary workshop in San Leandro, California. This free workshop is being held on Thursday, March 8, 2018 and is expected to attract industry professionals from across California and other parts of the country.

This workshop will be presented by Diane Miskowski, MPH, Legionella Subject Matter Expert at EMSL. The workshop will cover the history, ecology and analysis of Legionella as well as sampling strategies. Other topics to be discussed include New York State and New York City cooling tower regulations which have created Legionella action levels. These regulations have now established industry best practices and a standard of care for Legionella risk management. Additional topics will also include an overview of cooling towers, drinking water supplies and plumbing systems.

This one-day workshop will be hosted at the Marina Inn on San Francisco Bay, which is located at 68 Monarch Bay Drive in San Leandro, California. Registration will begin at 8:30 AM followed by training that will take place from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. This course is being offered at no cost to industry professionals, but registration is required.
