Mold is caused by moisture. A properly designed, constructed, and maintained building enclosure protects the building’s contents from moisture and prevents the growth of mold. Proper design includes interfacing the enclosure with the HVAC system. This action-packed free workshop will cover what mold is; mold sampling techniques, and how to clean up mold as well as where moisture comes from, how moisture causes problems, and how to control moisture. Lastly, the workshop will discuss how to design a building to avoid mold.
