EMSL Microbial Investigations Workshop in Atlanta

Atlanta, GA,  June 18^th , 2019

EMSL Analytical, Inc. is hosting a “Microbial Investigations: Sampling and Data Interpretation Workshop” on Thursday, October 17^th in Atlanta, Georgia. Registration will begin at 8:30 AM followed by the training, which will run from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Michael Murphy, EMSL Atlanta’s Laboratory Manager & Microbiology Sales Specialist, will be instructing this workshop. The morning session will open with a general overview of mold testing, sampling guidelines, types of samples and result interpretation. He will provide information on direct exams, culture samples, PCR testing and ERMI followed by a discussion about mold vs. wood rot on building materials. In the afternoon, Michael will go over allergen and endotoxin testing, sewage bacteria, Legionella and conclude with healthcare-associated infections (HAIs).
