EMSL Analytical, Inc.’s Tampa location is one of four testing laboratories in the state of Florida. EMSL also has laboratories conveniently located in Orlando, Fort Lauderdale, and Miami where clients can stop by and pick-up air sampling supplies locally at any location. EMSL now has 45 testing laboratories throughout the United States and Canada.

EMSL Tampa offers mold and asbestos testing services. The laboratory is accredited by the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA) to perform mold analysis on bulk, surface and spore trap samples. EMSL Tampa can test fungal spores, fungal structures, hyphae, pollen, insect fragments and fibrous materials. The laboratory is also accredited by the National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program (NVLAP) for bulk asbestos analysis by polarized light microscopy (PLM).

Under NVLAP and A2LA, EMSL Tampa is in accordance with International Standard ISO/IEC 17025 and the 2009 TNI Standard. These certifications demonstrate technical competence for a defined scope and the operation of a laboratory quality management system as well as the ability to perform United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) methods.
