Introduction EMSL Analytical, Inc. is pleased to announce that its corporate headquarters in Cinnaminson, New Jersey has received its updated American Association for Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA) scope.

EMSL Analytical, Inc. is pleased to announce that its corporate headquarters in Cinnaminson, New Jersey has received its updated American Association for Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA) scope. The A2LA now covers the Department of Energy Consolidated Audit Program (DOECAP) and the Department of Defense (DOD) accreditation. In connection with our Radiological Materials License, this allows us to receive potentially radioactive samples from DOE sites.

In recognition of the successful completion of the A2LA evaluation process, EMSL Cinnaminson has expanded its scope of testing to now cover air, bulk, dust, drinking water and solids for analysis of: environmental lead, industrial hygiene, asbestos, material science, radiochemistry and children’s products. EMSL Cinnaminson laboratory is in accordance with the recognized International Standard ISO/IEC 17025:2017. This accreditation demonstrates technical competence for a defined scope and the operation of a laboratory quality management system.

The laboratory is also in compliance with the A2LA Food Testing Program Requirements for technical competence in the field of chemical and biological testing to perform tests on food, food products, feeds, food additives, beverages and environmental samples. Additionally, EMSL Cinnaminson is recognized for technical competence in the field of mechanical testing and can analyze and perform tests on metals, metal fasteners and rubber latex.
