EMSL Analytical, Inc. offers free sampling pumps to all EMSL customers for silica monitoring, provided all samples are returned to any of EMSL’s four (4) AIHA-Accredited laboratories for silica within North America: EMSL Headquarters - Cinnaminson, NJ, Indianapolis, IN, Huntington Beach, CA, and Mississauga, ON (Canada).

EMSL’s free Silica NIOSH 7500 Air Sampling Kit includes the Buck Libra L-4 Pump (EMSL Product ID: #87IH007), 0.4 – 4.0 Rotameter (#8704203), Cassette Holder (#87IH025), Aluminum Cyclone (#87IH024), Calibrator Adaptor, charger and manual.

“Crystalline silica is a mineral commonly found in sand, stone, rock, concrete, brick, block or mortar,” said Jody Thomason, Vice President of the Products Division and Corporate Purchasing. “Workers are exposed to crystalline silica dust in many daily operations like cutting, sawing, drilling or crushing components that contain crystalline silica.”
