Cinnaminson, New Jersey, May 19, 2023 The American Lung Association (ALA) first sponsored Clean Air Week back in 1972. In 1994, Clean Air Week was expanded to become Clean Air Month which takes place each May. It is a time to educate the public about the connection between clean air, both outdoors and indoors, and respiratory health. Unfortunately, not everyone has access to clean air.
