EMSL Analytical, Inc. is hosting an Indoor Air Quality (IAQ), Fire and Smoke Damage Testing, Identification of Unknown Materials, Combustible Dust Testing, and Industrial Hygiene (IH) Sampling (VOC’s (Sorbent Tubes and Badges), Formaldehyde, Silica, Meth and Clandestine Drugs, Nicotine and Marijuana Smoke, and Lead and Metals. The workshop will be held on June 8th, 2023 at EMSL’s Corporate Lab in Cinnaminson, New Jersey. Registration begins at 8:00 a.m. and begins at 8:30 a.m., ending at 3:30 p.m. Lunch is included and provided by EMSL.
Vincent Iuzzolino, M.S., Microbiology Lab Director of the EMSL Corporate Microbiology Laboratory is scheduled to cover the IAQ/Microbial Sampling section from 8:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Topics for this section include: Introduction to Fungal Ecology, Sampling for Mold, Report Interpretation, Legionella Sampling and Analysis, Sampling for Sewage Bacteria, ERMI Mold Testing, Mycotoxin Sampling, Endotoxin Sampling and Indoor Allergen Sampling.
Dr. Eugenia Mirica, Director of the EMSL Corporate Materials Testing Laboratory will cover fire and smoke damage testing for soot, char and ash in structural fires and wildfires, identification of unknowns and combustible dust testing.
Scott VanEtten, CIH, Director of Industrial Hygiene Lab services at EMSL will speak on VOC’s (Sorbent Tubes and Badges), Formaldehyde, Silica, Meth & Clandestine Drugs, Nicotine and Marijuana Smoke, and Lead and Metals.
