EMSL is proud to announce our Orlando, Florida laboratory received its A2LA accreditation for Food Microbiology Testing to ISO/IEC 17025:2017 standards and in compliance with the A2LA Food Testing Program Requirements, containing 2018 “AOAC International Guidelines for Laboratories Performing Microbiological and Chemical Analyses of Food, Dietary Supplements, and Pharmaceuticals”. American Association for Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA) is among the largest accreditation bodies in the world and the only independent, 501(c)3, non-profit, internationally recognized accreditation body in the United States that offers a full range of comprehensive conformity assessment accreditation services. 

“The addition of food microbiology testing services to our Orlando laboratory allows EMSL to further assist local communities in identifying potential food hazards,” said Joseph Frasca, Senior Vice President of Marketing at EMSL Analytical, Inc. “The laboratory can analyze samples for contaminants like E. coli, Listeria, Salmonella, and more. Additionally, EMSL has a dedicated Special Projects team that will work with you to customize methods to fit your project needs.”
