EMSL Analytical, Inc. is hosting an Mold, Indoor Air Quality (IAQ), and Legionella Sampling Workshop. It will be held on August 22^nd, 2024 at EMSL’s Veterans Memorial Hall Training Center in Cinnaminson, New Jersey. Registration begins at 8:00 a.m. with the workshop beginning at 8:30 a.m., ending at 3:30 p.m. Lunch and lab tour will be provided by EMSL.

Vincent Iuzzolino, M.S., Microbiology Lab Director of the EMSL Corporate Microbiology Laboratory and Jason Dobranic, Ph.D., VP of EMSL’s Microbiology and Life Sciences divisions are scheduled to cover the IAQ and Microbial Sampling section from 8:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Topics for this section include: Introduction to Fungal Ecology, Sampling for Mold, Report Interpretation, and Indoor Allergen Sampling.

Christopher Goulah, Ph.D., Legionella Program Director at EMSL is scheduled to cover the Legionella Sampling section from 1:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. Topics for this session include: Background of Legionnaires, Epidemiology of Legionella, Incidents of Legionnaires Disease, Prevention through Water Management, Identification of Legionella, Sampling for Legionella, and Regulations and Recommendations.
