Recently, multiple media outlets reported on a police department in North Carolina that will soon be moving into a temporary office and out of the basement at city hall. Once the move occurs, city officials plan on resolving air quality issues in the current location due to concerns over mold, moisture and musty odors.

Mold multiplies by producing microscopic spores that are so small they easily float through the air. At elevated levels, these can be a respiratory concern.
