EMSL Analytical, Inc. is hosting an Indoor Air Quality (IAQ), Mold, Fire and Smoke, and Industrial Hygiene (IH) workshop. It will be held on September 26th, 2024 at EMSL’s Corporate Training Center in Cinnaminson, New Jersey. Registration begins at 8:00 a.m. with the workshop beginning at 8:30 a.m., ending at 3:30 p.m. Lunch and lab tour will be provided by EMSL.
Vincent Iuzzolino, M.S., Microbiology Lab Director of the EMSL Corporate Microbiology Laboratory, is scheduled to cover the IAQ/Microbial Sampling section from 8:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Topics for this section include: Introduction to Fungal Ecology, Sampling for Mold, Other Sampling Methods for Mold and Bacteria, Report Interpretation, Legionella Sampling, Sampling for Sewage Contamination, ERMI Sampling, Sampling for Endotoxins, and Indoor Allergen Sampling.
Eugenia Mirica, Ph.D., Laboratory Director at EMSL, will be covering; Fire and Smoke Damage Testing, Identification of Unknown Materials, and Combustible Dust Testing.
Anthony Damato, CIH, Environmental, Health, and Safety Manager at EMSL, will be presenting the Industrial Hygiene Sampling section. Topics will include: VOC’s, Formaldehyde, Silica, Meth and Clandestine Drugs, Nicotine and Marijuana Smoke, and Lead and Metals.
