Project Experience: Material ID in Equipment

A client of EMSL, another analytical firm, needed to identify an unknown brownish-purple residue in some of their customers' mechanical equipment. Through laboratory analysis, not only was EMSL able to determine the identity of the residue as a fine oil-water emulsion, but also assisted in determining the cause.
